ATTENDEES OF THIS EVENT GIVE THE LEVITT FAMILY FOUNDATION AND OCEANSIDE CULTURAL ARTS FOUNDATION AND PARNTERS, PERMISSION TO USE THEIR VOICE, IMAGE OR LIKENESS AS IT APPEARS IN ANY PHOTOGRAPH, FILM OR AUDIO RECORDING, IN ANY MANNER, IN ALL MEDIA, IN PERPETUITY.

What is the Levitt BLOC Oceanside music series?

In 2026, 2027 and 2028, our Oceanside will host eight(8) family friendly, free music events in neighborhoods chosen because they deserve greater attention. In 2026, we will host eight Levitt BLOC* Oceanside music series events with two each at John Landes, Joe Balderrama, Mance Buchannon and Martin Luther King, Jr. Parks.
A coalition** headed by the Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation, competed in a field of over 300 national submissions seeking a matching grant to become one of 26 grantees for 2026! The matching grant portion of concert series is supported by local donors, municipal, non profit and private.
* "Levitt BLOC (Building Layers Of Community) activates different neighborhoods in a town or city by “layering” concerts across multiple public spaces, broadening the overall reach of the music series.
Levitt BLOC fosters social cohesion and amplifies community pride by featuring a diverse lineup ranging from acclaimed, emerging talent to seasoned, award-winning artists on the local, regional, and national circuits, ensuring access to high-caliber performances throughout a community. The Levitt BLOC Oceanside Music Series is supported in part by the Levitt Family Foundation, which partners with changemakers and nonprofits to strengthen the social fabric of communities in America through free, live music in outdoor public spaces. Presenting high-caliber talent and a broad array of music genres and cultural programming, Levitt concerts are welcoming, inclusive destinations where people of all ages and backgrounds come together. In 2026, the Levitt Family Foundation is supporting over 900 free concerts in 90+ towns and cities across the country, bringing joy to over a million people. In addition to supporting free concerts, the Foundation is dedicated to advancing vibrant music ecosystems through partnerships, field-building initiatives, and research. www.levitt.org"
